"Are you surprised that people still can dance and sing in a world on its head? The only surprising thing about miracles, however small, is that they sometimes happen."
Dylan Thomas
Mynydd Gwyn will be hosting its second Eisteddfod this year, a celebration of the performing arts, especially music, song and poetry, with classes and performance.
Come and share your skills to compete in the contest for the prestigious Silver Chair (yes, we actually have one!), or just come for fellowship and to enjoy the entertainment and a buffet feast.
This year the Eisteddfod will be held in the beautiful town of Ledbury, easily accessible as it has a railway station about 15-20 minutes walk from the site.
Burgage Hall, Church Lane, Ledbury. HR8 1DW (http://ledburycivicsociety.org/burgage-hall/directions-to-burgage-hall/)
This is a one day event, with bardic activity, but there is room for sewing projects and other A&S, and fighting, if people so desire. We will provide lunch, and feast.
Ledbury station is about 15-20 minutes walk from the site. We will be able to arrange pickups from the station if you contact the steward in advance.
Join us for a celebration of verse in all its forms, and the small miracle of dancing and singing together.
Tickets are £20 and are available via Eventbrite.
